Our mill has known a history of nearly 300 years! Our challenge is to restore the mill to it's original splendour. At the moment we are mainly engaged in gathering all the information we can get for the restoration. Also cleaning the old canals is one of the things that we can already prepare. Fortunately the mill itself is fairly preserved and we have been able to save a lot of parts. The mill consists of two horizontal wheels that propel two millstones. In addition there is an additional axle from which different machines can be driven. This could include an oil mill or treesaw and in future perhaps even electricity.
